During my many years in practice as a registered massage therapist, I have been heartened to witness the increased interest in physical therapies and complementary health care. It has been gratifying to be part of this shift. I graduated from the Massage Therapy program at Kikkawa College in 1995. Since then, I have practiced Massage Therapy in a variety of settings including salons, as adjunct to Chiropractors, and in multi-disciplinary health care facilities. Currently, I operate a Massage Therapy practice from my home near Bathurst and St. Clair.
As a Registered Massage Therapist, I am a member of the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario. This body, mandated and overseen by the Regulated Health Care Professions Act, serves as a governing organization for the profession of Massage Therapy, and as a resource for the public. Its website offers a wide range of information to the public regarding the practice of Massage Therapy in Ontario, including standards of practice, scope of practice, and access to a complaints process involving any breach of conduct on the part of a College member.
Here’s a short video in which I demonstrate how to give a non-professional massage to a friend or partner. It was created for and by Accessible Media Inc., for a 2015 Valentine’s Day segment.

I have had twice monthly massage with Chris for a few years. Her down to earth and empathic attitude has always put me at ease and her hands are magic. She really listens to me and this led to a simple neck position change on the massage table that prevented headaches after massage, which I had experienced for years with another massage therapist. Chris’s work has appreciably reduced my neck and back tension. ~ Terry
The time spent under Chris’ thoughtful hands is always a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend spending your ‘me time’ with Chris. ~ Vida
